November 2012

Just a little update to let you know we have been busy planning the next year.  At this point we have setup 5 shade house projects and shipped the materials to Haiti.  We will be setting up one more for Haiti soon.  three of these will be built at Love a Child in January/February 2013 and the other 3 later this next summer.  In addition we are trying to prepare for a greenhouse to built in Guatemala.  That one should be very interesting as it will include a polymer cover and is a little remote up in the mountains in the area of the Ixil Triangle.  I must add that due to our faithful support, the 5 shadehouses already scheduled have been paid for and we should have sufficent funds to cover the others also.  We are so greatful for that financial support which enables us to serve in this way.

Since we built the shade house at Love a Child last summer it has survived two tropical storms and recently served as a refuge for some very wet chickens whose poultry house became flooded.  They were a pitiful site to behold.

These pictures are from Love a Child
